Not only is Red Raider Wrecker Service scamming Texas Tech students, parents and just about anybody that drives a vehicle in Lubbock, but Lubbock Wrecker Services believes they have the right to knowingly violate the law, they will not prevail.
The Texas Department of Licensing & Regulations is investigating both companies for committing violations of State Law.
Lubbock Wrecker Service only has a good standing with the Better Business Bureau because any complaint filed against them is resolved with a $495 credit charge and an attorney in bed with the local Justice of the Peace.
Tow companies are prohibiting from stashing or relocated private property impounds unless the vehicle is towed directly to a licensed vehicle storage facility, something Lubbock Wrecker Service is failing to do, which TDLR will lower the boom on them with an expensive fine.
It’s a damn shame the Lubbock Police Department allows it tow contractor to knowingly engage in organized criminal activity with impunity targeting the public.
Given the fact both Red Raider and Lubbock Wrecker Services are members of the Southwest Tow Operators, engaging in organized criminal activity reference towing is common practice to these companies..
Use a chain to tow your vehicle instead of calling either of these two companies as neither perform tow operations with honesty, integrity and trustworthiness.
