The Beaumont Police Department should remove K&K Towing from its collision rotation list due to continued financial nightmares, outright stealing of vehicles, then holding them hostage for a ransom, to be paid by none other than the citizens of Beaumont, Texas.
It’s absolutely disgusting how law enforcement agencies who have the ability in Jefferson County to stop it, has allowed predatory tow companies to knowingly engage in organized criminal activity with impunity targeting the public.
For God’s sake, the Texas Legislature and the Governor mandated in 2013 that law enforcement enforce the Texas Towing, Storage and Booting Act.
Beaumont, Port Arthur, Nederland and the Jefferson County Sheriff departments are encouraged to contact Nacogdoches PD Asst Chief Vince Griffin who serves as the Law Enforcement Representative on the TDLR Towing, Storage & Booting Advisory Board, at (936) 559-2604, to learn how to secure a felony charge with evidence for indictment, to address the issues occurring 24/7.
This madness must stop!
K&K Towing of Liberty started the New Year wrong, by towing a vehicle belonging to guest that does not live in an apartment complex in Beaumont for an expired inspection sticker. This incident is outright fraud, as the victim never received the required 10 day Certified Letter notice prior to towing.
These idiots can expect to come face to face with Jeff County JP Brad Burnett soon, in a battle during the Small Claims Lawsuit against the apartment complex owner. The TDLR complaints have already been filed as well.
All tow related hearing are recommended to be filed in the JP Court at 7933 Viterbo Road, Suite 1 Beaumont, TX 77705 if Justice is to be served.
As would be expected, K&K Towing is a member of the Southwest Tow Operators whose motto, “The Key to Thriving Tow Business is Bribery”, as evident in some of their member’s business model.
