I have requested two strike teams with six bait vehicles be deployed to Killeen and I just received confirmation they arrived around 6pm this evening.
Its complete lawlessness in Killeen as the Police refuse to intervene in private property towing issues…there is not one legal tow sign posted in Killeen and members of the military stationed at Fort Hood are under assault by predatory tow companies, Action Towing, CJ’s Towing and Wolfman’s Towing.
These three companies, all members of the Southwest Tow Operators, have all been fined by TDLR in 2014 for towing vehicles without the required legal tow signs and the continue to knowingly violate the law with zero remorse..
Therefore, Texas Towing Compliance auditors is filing all (167) of the outstanding illegal tow cases we have in our database with TDLR against these three companies.
Next week, our compliance team will submit an open records request to Killeen PD for the vehicle information reported by these three for every vehicle towed during 2014, then notifying all those vehicles owners their vehicles were wrongfully towed and due compensation which we will provide all the supporting photos and documents to prevail in Judge Cooke’s Court….
The actions of Action Towing & Recovery will not be forgotten and complaints were filed Friday with TDLR after being advised by TDLR both of their licenses are expired!
